Club backs EB campaign fronted by teenage goalie

FOOTBALLERS from Bohemians have teamed up with a brave teenager who battles an incurable skin condition to continue playing the sport she loves.

The Dublin club's senior women's squad is supporting national charity Debra’s Inside Out initiative, which asks the public to wear an item of clothing inside out on October 22.

The drive is aimed at raising awareness and crucial funds for families dealing with extremely painful epidermolysis bullosa (EB).

The campaign is led by goalkeeper Sophia Dawson, 14, who lives with EB and whose skin blisters and tears - particularly when playing contact sport.
