SIR David Beckham has a new feather in his cap, editing posh magazine Country Life.

The former England captain, 50, took on the guest role for a special edition and spoke of his favourite view, his best-loved recipe and his relationship with the countryside.

Becks told the mag: “My earliest memories of doing anything in the countryside are when I was a cub, then a scout, and we used to go camping in Epping Forest.”

He also pays tribute to film director pal Guy Ritchie, saying: “He's a modern-day caveman, who has made me fall far deeper in love with the countryside and helped me to understand it even more than I did before.
