OK OK BEFORE you jump down my throat I KNOW it doesn't look anything like the iconic Ford Capri that offered affordable sports driving to my parents’ generation.

But even though the old Capri is still revered as the “European Mustang” it’s been a long time since it bid us farewell back in 1986 so in fairness to Ford, they're entitled to rummage around in the back catalogue for some inspiration.
