Sir Alex: 10+ years for United to claim title Ruben: We can do it way before then
RUBEN AMORIM has insisted Manchester United will be ready to win the title in the "next few years" after Sir Alex Ferguson claimed it could take over a decade for them to regain the Premier League crown.
Ferguson compared United's current slump to the 31-year title drought Liverpool suffered and said it could be another cycle or two before his former club are ready to win the league. The 83-year-old won 13 Premier League titles in his trophy-strewn era at Old Trafford but feels it could be a while before they are at the top of the tree again domestically.
