WIRE'S RECRUITMENT PLANS TAKE SHAPE
WARRINGTON Wolves have gone back to the drawing board as their recruitment plans continue after missing out on two key transfer targets so far.
The Wire are looking to bolster their pack heading into 2026 and have already started that process with the acquisition of Liam Byrne, who will leave Wigan at the end of the season to continue his career at the Halliwell Jones Stadium, as first reported by Warrington Guardian.
However, attempts to sign Matty Lees and Tom Amone haven't been as successful, with Lees deciding to re-sign with St Helens while Amone is heading to Hull KR in 2026.
