JAKIROVIC IS RELISHING CITY'S TRACTOR BOYS' TEST

HULL City boss Sergej Jakirovic says his side will be ready as they look to fashion a sixth home win of the Championship season against one of the promotion favourites tonight.

City host Ipswich Town at the MKM Stadium, looking to bounce back from a disappointing 3-2 loss at QPR on Saturday, despite leading twice through Joe Gelhardt and Enis Destan.

Town, who have yet to really get going following their relegation from the Premier League, were held to a goalless draw by Wrexham, but would leapfrog the Tigers with victory in East Yorkshire.

"Big game, yes, we will be ready for this. It's very important that we don't have any injured players (from QPR)," Jakirovic told the Mail ahead of the clash with Kieran McKenna's men.
