NEW POLL SHOWS MAYORAL CANDIDATES IN A TIGHT RACE

A NEW poll has suggested the candidates are set for a tight race in tomorrow's Hull and East Yorkshire Mayoral election.

More in Common polled around 1,000 people between April 15-21.

Reform UK candidate Luke Campbell is in the lead of the poll with 27 per cent. Just behind is Anne Handley (Conservative Party) at 24 per cent.

The overall poll figures are:

■Luke Campbell, Reform UK - 27 per cent

Anne Handley, Conservative Party - 24 per cent

■Mike Ross, Liberal Democrats - 22 per cent

Margaret Pinder, Labour Party - 17 per cent

Kerry Harrison, Green Party - 7 per cent
