Tigers turned down approach for assistant coach Salatovic

HULL City head coach Sergej Jakirovic has confirmed the club turned down an approach from Kayserispor for assistant head coach Marko Salatovic.

The Turkish Super Lig side, who lost Jakirovic to City back in the summer when he left to become boss at the MKM Stadium, were without a manager after the Croatian's replacement, Markus Gisdol, lost his job with the side second bottom of the table and without a win this season.
After attempting to prise the Croatian away from City, Kayseri have since appointed former Montenegro international Radomir Dalovic to the role.
