Super League gets ready to announce first 12 teams for 2026 campaign

SUPER League's first 12 clubs for the 2026 season will be confirmed tomorrow at 10am, when the club grading scores and rankings will be published.

Potential clubs 13 and 14 will be announced on Friday, also at 10am, following a decision by a seven-person panel.

Nine applications were officially made to be a part of the topflight next year, including two from existing Super League clubs - Huddersfield Giants and Hull FC.

The other seven are from clubs in the Championship in Bradford Bulls, Doncaster, London Broncos, Oldham, Widnes, York Knights and Grand Final winners, Toulouse.

London Broncos have made major strides in their ambition to return to Super League, under new ownership involving Brisbane Broncos great Darren Lockyer and business partner Grant Wechsel - as well as new head coach Jason Demetriou.
