Hull employer Spencer Group is toasting success after scooping a high profile award as one of the best places to work in its industry in the UK.Spencer Group triumphed as the Best Place to Work - Large Firm winner at the Construction News Workforce Awards.

The Hull-based construction and engineering specialist - which has more than 300 staff - has been singled out for creating an environment where employees feel listened to, mental health is prioritised and employees are supported to progress. Colleagues from the business were presented with the trophy during a glittering gala evening at the JW Marriott Grosvenor House Hotel in London - and it brings Spencer Group's awards count to seven so far this year.
