When he was pitching the idea for this podcast to a room full of 40-year-olds, Sir John Tusa was met by puzzled faces.

Why would anyone want to interview people in their 90s?"These people... are they... all right?" was the question asked of the founding host of Newsnight and former MD of the BBC World Service.
