TIGERS BOSS REVEALS MIXED INJURY
RUBEN Selles has confirmed Regan Slater will not be involved in Hull City's final day showdown at Portsmouth after suffering an ankle injury in the defeat to Derby County.
Slater limped out of the action after just 15 minutes of what had been a productive opening at a sold-out MKM Stadium, and will now not feature on the South Coast as the Tigers go in search of a huge victory.
The dynamic midfielder had damaged his ankle and will spend the next couple of weeks in a protective boot. It's expected he will return to pre-season training when the players return at the beginning of July, for what they hope will be preparations for another Championship season.
Selles was boosted by the availability of John Egan, who left the action before the hour with a back spasm and was replaced by Alfie Jones, while Ivor Pandur is expected to be fine despite having some strapping on his thigh.
