I THOUGHT I LOOKED LIKE CRISTIANO RONALDO

- By BARRY COOPER

Oli McBurnie wants to turn a very good week into the perfect one for Hull City, as they look to make it nine points from nine against his former club Swansea City.

Inform City have claimed two wins from two on the road in the past week, winning away at Southampton and then thumping playoff rivals Preston North End 3-0 at Deepdale on Tuesday.

McBurnie notched two more assists St Mary’s and Deepdale, before getting his first goal in five games with a clever bicycle kick on Tuesday to hit 10 league goals for the season, while taking his tally of assists to six in a Man of the Match display.

Attention now turns back to the MKM Stadium, with the resurgent Swans in town looking to halt the Tigers’ growing momentum in their race for promotion.

“I actually thought it looked better than what it did on the replays. In real time I thought I looked like Cristiano Ronaldo, I didn’t quite look like that, but, I’m getting a bit older now, a bit stiffer,” joked the Yorkshireman in conversation with the Mail about his midweek strike.
