Trend predictors are betting 2026 is going to be the year when fashion gets interesting again.
Insiders are picking the new year as the moment quiet luxury - the subtle intimation of wealth - is finally quashed and maximalism takes back the stage.
In the past few years there have been so many rules and movements that have stifled any creativity in fashion. Take for example the 'clean girl' aesthetic, head-to-toe beige, even our gym gear was muted and matching, so stringent and lacking in individuality. It's time to loosen up.
