'EVERYONE IS TRUELY WELCOME'

THIS coming Saturday, Pride in Hull returns for 2025, with what is promised to be a vibrant celebration under the welcoming banner of this year's theme, "You're Welcome".

Marking its continuation as one of the nation's standout Pride events, the festival remains deeply rooted in local spirit and shared purpose.

The centre of the festivities will be at Zebedee's Yard, on Posterngate in the Hull City Centre and there will be headline performances from Queenz and Booty Luv/Big Brovaz.

The main stage will see top local artists throughout the day. Hull has a wealth of homegrown talent.

Also taking to the stage will be this year's Pride Got Talent winner, Amy Bell, who will join the main stage lineup, celebrating emerging voices within the community.

Festivalgoers can look forward to a city transformed. Queen Victoria Square becomes Trans Square, dedicated to trans voices and experiences. Ferens Art Gallery will once again open its doors for families with inclusive entertainment, and King Edward Street turns into a lively community market showcasing local organisations and artists.

The centrepiece parade, which starts at 11am, winds through the city centre and the rest of Pride will continue from noon to 6pm.

Last year, Pride in Hull welcomed 136,000 people into Hull city centre and as Hull prepares for a day of unity, music, and visibility, the festival's message could not be clearer, everyone is truly welcome.
