Hornsea Inshore Rescue launches £400k rooftop terrace appeal

HORNSEA Inshore Rescue has launched an appeal to raise funds for a proposed rooftop terrace café at its boat launch facility in the resort.

Plans for the South Promenade independent rescue boat base were approved earlier this year and will mean the whole rooftop being decked and surrounded by a glass wall with plenty of seating and tables and a staircase and lift to provide access. The charity believes this will not only increase the funds for Hornsea Inshore Rescue but also provide a significant tourist attraction.
