Grix pens new deal at Black & Whites

HULL FC assistant coach Simon Grix has signed a new two-year extension at the club.

The former Halifax Panthers and Warrington Wolves player arrived at the Black and Whites ahead of the 2024 season on an original two-year deal, with the 40-year-old putting pen to paper on a new contract earlier this year.

The deal lines Grix up with the contracts of head coach John Cartwright and fellow assistant coach Andy Last, who both arrived ahead of the 2025 season on three-year deals.

All three coaches are now signed up until the end of the 2027 season.

Grix first came into contact with Hull while Tony Smith was head coach, doing some consultant coaching during the 2023 season.
