Nothing more to probe: Maha ATS on Sanatan Sanstha's activities
Hindustan Times
|November 15, 2024
MUMBAI: The Maharashtra anti-terrorism squad (ATS) on Thursday told the Bombay high court that it has probed all allegations levelled by the family of slain rationalist Govind Pansare, adding that there was nothing more to investigate.
Pansare's family, in a letter to the ATS, had alleged that Hindu right-wing organisation Sanatan Sanstha was systematically killing intellectuals in Maharashtra and Karnataka, and demanded a probe into its activities. The 68-page letter was submitted to Jayant Meena, superintendent of police, ATS, Pune division.
Meena, who was present in court, submitted the letter dated November 12, as well as his report on the allegations made in the letter.
