Chouhan: Don't back those who gave refuge to rioters

NEW DELHI: Union agriculture minister and senior Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Shivraj Singh Chouhan on Sunday urged the people of Delhi to not support those "with blood on their hands", referring to the February 2020 riots in northeast Delhi in which more than 50 people were killed.
Chouhan made the remarks in Karawal Nagar while canvassing for the BJP nominee for the seat, Kapil Mishra.
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) hit back, saying that the people of Delhi are all united to defeat the BJP.
Addressing a public gathering, Chouhan made multiple references to Ankit Sharma and Dilbar Negi - two people who were murdered in the 2020 riots.
