Director Shivam Nair is basking in the reviews coming his way for his latest big screen outing, The Diplomat.
Released last month, the John Abraham and Sadia Khateeb-starrer, which emerged as a sleeper hit, is based on a real life story. For a small-scale film to do this without any pre-release is rare. But Shivam asserts, "I never had a doubt about this story." He goes on to note, "If a film is good and well-crafted, then definitely larger audiences show up. They pick up slowly, though. Yeh cheez 12th Fail (2023) ke saath bhi hui thi, it took some time to find an audience."
