6 ARRESTED FOR ROBBING GROCERY STORE, WANTED TO USE LOOT MONEY TO GO ON HOLIDAY

Six people have been held for robbing a Dwarka-based grocer at gunpoint, officers said, adding that the accused committed the crime to bankroll a proposed vacation to Himachal Pradesh and Kashmir.
Police said the robbery took place on November 12 when the grocer —officers did not share his name—shut his shop in Mahavir Enclave to leave for his house. Investigators said he was on his two-wheeler near a government school in Bindapur at around 7.30 pm when he was waylaid by a group of men, who robbed him of ₹50,000.
