Five people had been arrested in connection with the attack on Samajwadi Party MP Ramji Lal Suman's convoy when it was en route to Bulandshahr on Sunday, police said.

AGRA: Also, the in-charge of a police outpost and a beat constable were suspended for negligence hours after the incident. Aligarh superintendent of police (City) Mrigank Shekhar Pathak said the five men were arrested Sunday evening after a case against the incident was registered at Ghabhana police station of Aligarh. They, however, were later released after being bound.
