US engine maker GE Aerospace on Wednesday said it has handed over to Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) fourth of 99 F404-IN20 engines contracted for light combat aircraft (LCA Mk-1A).

The delivery was made in the US. The engine will be transported to Bengaluru, where HAL is based, shortly.
