Chief Minister Hemant Soren, holding a high-level meeting with senior police officers regarding the maintenance of law and order in the state in view of upcoming festivals, directed them to keep close watch on mischievous elements and rumour mongers and ensure physical verification of procession routes.
RANCHI:
"Ensure maintenance of better law and order in the state at all costs in view of festivals like Holi, Sarhul, Eid and Ramnavami. Festivals should be celebrated with mutual love and harmony in a crime-free environment. Police should remain on alert with full vigilance so that not even a minor unpleasant incident, communal tension or dispute situation arises in any area of the state.
