‘Shock injury on chest’ caused muscleman’s death, says post-mortem; 3 cops transferred

The postmortem report of strongman Dularchand Yadav, who died during poll campaign clashes in Mokama on Thursday, says that he was not killed because of a gunshot wound but of “cardiorespiratory failure due to shock caused by injury to the heart and lungs”.

Meanwhile, three police officers, including Patna Superintendent of Police (SP), Rural, Vikram Sihag were transferred by the Election Commission.

Yadav died while he was campaigning for Jan Suraaj Party's candidate Piyush Priyadarshi. The incident took place close to the Bhadaur and Ghoswari police stations.
