JMM Suspends Leader After DC Court Orders District Exile

The court of the West Singhbhum deputy commissioner (DC) has ordered district exile for infamous criminal-turned-politician Ramashankar Pandey alias Rama Pandey under the Jharkhand Crime Control Act, 2002 (CCA) to maintain public order, state security, and the smooth conduct of essential services, officials said on Saturday.
JAMSHEDPUR:
"The court of DC Chandan Kumar has ordered district exile for Ramashankar Pandey alias Rama Pandey, originally hailing from Rajpur in Buxar district and currently residing in Ramnagar under the Gua police station (PS) in West Singhbhum district, for the next six months under section 3(3)(b)(I)(II) and (III) of the Jharkhand CCA, 2002," a press release by the West Singhbhum public relations department (PRD) stated.
