The Jharkhand High Court (HC) has directed the State Road Construction Department (RCD) to file a status report on the construction of pothole-ridden Rasunchopa to Tiring stretch of NH-220 as the RCD had promised to complete the construction by March 14, people close to the matter said on Wednesday.

JAMSHEDPUR:

"The RCD lawyer has sought final disposal of my petition against the pothole-ridden Rasunchopa-Tiring stretch of NH-220 by promising to complete its construction by March 14. I objected to it and requested the HC bench of chief Justice MS Ramchandra Rao that a status report be filed by the RCD after March 14 after which the petition can be disposed of finally," Aakash Sharma, the petitioner, himself an HC lawyer, told HT.
