Forest officials said on Thursday that they found a full-grown adult elephant dead near Serengsia village in Kolhan Forests under the Tonto police station area under mysterious circumstances, while they also traced another young elephant deep inside Saranda Forests in Jharkhand’s West Singhbhum district.
“The elephant had no burn marks or injuries on the body, implying there was no external attack or interference. Both tusks were intact, ruling out the poaching angle. We are sending the samples to the state
