Darbhanga CO Removed For Ignoring DM's Regular Calls

In a decisive administrative move, district magistrate Rajiv Raushan relieved Darbhanga Sadar circle officer Randhir Kumar from his duties for unauthorised absence and failure to respond to multiple official calls.

The action was taken following the district's monthly revenue meeting on February 13, which Kumar did not attend. Despite repeated attempts to contact him on his official mobile number, he remained unreachable, an official said.
