CM Soren Woos Spanish Firms to Invest in State's Mining, Energy Sectors

Chief minister Hemant Soren has promised investor-friendly policies to Spanish firms for collaboration in mining, industry and energy sectors, assuring of investment policies and opportunities for mutually beneficial collaboration, officials said on Friday.

The CM is on an official visit to Spain, leading a delegation from the state exploring foreign direct investment in some of the key sectors in the state, and has been meeting representatives from top Spanish companies.

"Sector-specific insights were also shared on Jharkhand's industrial power, rich mining sector and clean energy potential," a statement from the chief minister's office said.

Soren and his team held one-on-one meetings with representatives from the Spanish Ministry of Economy, Trade and Enterprise, Spanish Chamber of Commerce and the Spain India Council Foundation to explore avenues for deeper economic collaboration and strategic partnerships.
