Lauding the Centre for its support in enhancing the state's power systems and urban infrastructure, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday said the state government was working to achieve the vision of a developed Rajasthan, with the energy and urban development departments playing a pivotal role.
JAIPUR: Lauding the Centre for its support in enhancing the state's power systems and urban infrastructure, chief minister Bhajan Lal Sharma on Tuesday said the state government was working to achieve the vision of a developed Rajasthan, with the energy and urban development departments playing a pivotal role.
"Our double-engine government is effectively implementing welfare schemes on the ground, benefiting over 8 crore (80 million) citizens of the state," Sharma said during a state-level review meeting of the energy and urban development departments with Union minister for housing, urban affairs, and power Manohar Lal, at the Chief Minister's residence.
He also directed officials to ensure timely completion of joint Centre-State projects through effective coordination with the central government.
