OLA ELECTRIC LOSS WIDENS DURING JUNE QUARTER AS REVENUE HALVES

Ola Electric Mobility Ltd. reported first-quarter losses widened as revenue during the period halved, signaling continued pain for the Indian electric vehicle maker as it battles regulatory scrutiny and eroding market share.
The Bengaluru-based firm posted a net loss of ₹428 crore ($49.8 million) in the quarter ended June 30, worse than the ₹347 crore in the year-ago period, according to a statement Monday. Revenue dropped 50% year-on-year to ₹828 crore.
