Is the RPSC deaf and dumb? One after another exam paper was leaked from your agency by your own member RAJASTHAN HIGH COURT
JAIPUR: The Rajasthan high court on Tuesday expressed its discontent over the lack of action from the Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC), the top exam conduction agency in the state, as it failed to lodge a first information report (FIR) in any exam leak cases.
A single bench of the high court (Jaipur bench) presided over by Justice Sameer Jain, said, "Is the RPSC deaf and dumb? One after another exam paper was leaked from your agency by your own member. You don't have any accountability?"
The court was hearing a petition filed by Chandra Sharma in November 2024, seeking to cancel the Sub Inspector 2021 recruitment exam after the Special Operation Group (SOG) arrested over 70 trainees and two former RPSC members Babulal Katara and Ramu Ram Raika in the case since March last year.
On Monday, the court summoned the RPSC's acting chairman Kailash Chandra Meena and SOG additional director general of police (ADGP) VK Singh to appear before the court on Tuesday to comment on the matter.
"It seems that any paper can be leaked from the RPSC and its integrity has been compromised. The paper leak incidents from the agency are so rampant and the RPSC chairman himself remained silent instead of taking any action," Jain made the remark during the hearing on Tuesday.
