The High Court Directed CBI to Produce the Case Diary Related to its Probe on the Next Day of Hearing on March 28
KOLKATA: The Calcutta high court on Monday asked the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) whether it was considering the possibility of gang rape or the destruction of evidence in its probe into the rape-murder case of a 31-year-old doctor at the RG Kar Medical College and Hospital in Kolkata on August 9 last year.
Hearing a petition filed by the deceased medic's parents seeking further investigation, Justice Tirthankar Ghosh directed CBI to produce the case diary related to its probe on the next day of hearing on March 28.
