Even as police remain clueless in the murder of prominent businessman Gopal Khemka, another shocking incident rocked the city late Sunday night when unidentified assailants shot dead a private school owner near DAV School under Khagaul police station limits.
The victim, identified as Ajit Kumar (50), was a resident of Mustafapur in Danapur. Police said the incident occurred when he was returning home on his scooty after delivering dinner to his father, Naresh Chandra Prasad, at Saugna More.
