Portal to boost civic services delivery unveiled in Bihar

In a significant stride toward technology-driven and citizen-centric governance, Bihar chief secretary Amrit Lal Meena on Friday launched a series of transformative digital initiatives under the Bihar Prashasnik Sudhar Mission Society (BPSMS), general administration department (GAD), at a ceremony held in the secretariat.
The event, attended by Development Commissioner Pratyay Amrit, Additional Chief Secretary cum Mission Director BPSMS, departmental secretaries, and representatives from NIC, SBI, and KPMG, marked a pivotal moment in Bihar's e-governance journey.
The highlight of the launch was the RTPS Online Appeal & Review Portal (https://rtpsappeal-bihar.gov.in), a robust platform under the Bihar Right to Public Services Act, 2011. This portal enables citizens to file appeals and reviews online for delays or rejections in public services provided by the GAD. Equipped with paperless processing, digital signatures, and real-time dashboards, the system ensures transparency and accessibility.
