Police Launch Awareness Campaign on Chinese Manjha

Police have started an awareness campaign against the sale and use of Chinese manjha (kite string) as well as launched a crackdown on violators, after two people died and over 50 sustained injuries in the past few weeks due to accidents caused by manjha, police officers aware of the matter said on Saturday.
HARIDWAR:
Superintendent of city police Pankaj Gairola under Har-ki-Pauri said that the mobile checking van has been deployed for effective surveillance on use and sale of Chinese manjha.
