Patna Metro: Laying of tracks on priority corridor starts next month

Laying of tracks on the priority route of Patna Metro rail project from Patliputra bus terminal to Malahi Pakri is likely to start from next month and rakes would come in the next few months, sources in the Patna Metro project said on Saturday.

Urban development department minister Nitin Nabin said the track laying work on priority corridor would start next month, adding, rake of the Metro service would come by May.

Work on the project on all routes has also intensified with the district administration having made necessary changes in traffic routes in various parts of the city for carrying materials to construction sites of stations, coming up at different parts.
