One dies in firing during excise department's raid at Bhojpur

A person died due to bullet injuries in firing by one of the cops of excise department team which had gone to ward No. 3 of Shahpur nagar panchayat of Bhojpur district to raid a house of a person allegedly involved in illegal liquor business.
The SAP jawan, police said, fired in self defence after the team was attacked with stones and bricks.
The victim was identified as 45-year-old Sushil Yadav, a resident of Nagar panchayat ward No.3.
The angry family members and villagers blocked the road by placing the body on the road near Shahpur police station crossing on Ara-Buxar Road for hours due to which traffic was disrupted.
