PATNA: Leader of the Opposition in the Bihar assembly Tejashwi Prasad Yadav on Saturday accused the Nitish Kumar-led NDA government in Bihar of "institutionalising corruption" by floating global tenders for development schemes, primarily infrastructure projects, worth ₹76,622 crore launched between December 2024 and April 2025.

He further alleged that public funds were being misused to finance the ruling party's electoral campaign.

Addressing a press conference at the state RJD office, Yadav — flanked by party MLC Abdul Bari Siddiqui and other senior leaders — also questioned the launch of the Mahila Samvad programme, which has a budgetary allocation of ₹225 crore, calling it a pretext to fund the JD(U)'s campaign ahead of the upcoming assembly elections.
