Girl Pushed Off Running Train For Opposing Mobile Phone Snatching, Hurt

A girl was allegedly pushed from a running train when she opposed a loot bid of her mobile phone on Sunday evening, police said, adding that the incident took place near the western railway over bridge of Ara railway station.

This is the second such type of incident in Bihar within two weeks.
The victim, identified as 20-year-old Tanu Kumari of Fatehpur under Sikarhatta police station, is under treatment after receiving injuries on her head, chest, and back.
Shashi Ranjan Kumar, brother of the victim, said his sister was going to Ara for taking medicine from a homeopathic doctor for some skin problem on her face. She had boarded the Sasaram-Patna passenger train at Piro.
