BJP upbeat as PM Modi to unveil ₹7k-cr projects

Prime Minister Narendra Modi is expected to give Bihar projects worth over ₹7,000-crore and schemes, including those related to railway and roads during his fifth visit to the poll-bound state this year on July 18.
He is scheduled to address a rally at Gandhi Maidan in Motihari.
Union minister of state for home Nityanand Raj said that Bihar was the focus area for the PM and that was reflected through his actions both in terms of policies and budget as well as programmes and projects over the last few years.
"Whenever he comes to Bihar, there is understandably huge expectation of the people and he does not let them down. During his all previous visits to the state, Bihar got benefited in more ways than one. He had laid the foundation stone and inaugurated multiple development projects worth ₹11,000 crore at Siwan also last month. Thousands of crores have been given to Bihar for development work," he added.
