The world is looking at India with great hope due to our youth power, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said on Sunday as he reflected on the country’s milestones of 2025 — from strengthening national security and excelling in sports to pioneering breakthroughs in science and commanding the world's most influential platforms.
“This year, ‘Operation Sindoor’ became a symbol of pride for every Indian. The world clearly saw that today’s India does not compromise on its security. During ‘Operation Sindoor’, images of love and devotion towards Maa Bharati emerged from every corner of the country. People expressed their feelings in their own unique ways,” the PM said while addressing the nation in the 129th episode of his monthly Mann Ki Baat radio broadcast.
Operation Sindoor marked New Delhi's direct military response to the April 22 Pahalgam terror attack in which 26 people were killed.
