Reliance Industries will participate in a $300 billion deal that will see the United States open its first new oil refinery in 50 years, US President Donald Trump announced in a Truth Social post on Wednesday. The refinery will be built at the port of Brownsville in Texas by America First Refining (AFR).
“Today I am proud to announce that America First Refining is opening the first new US oil refinery in 50 years in Brownsville, Texas,” Trump posted on Truth Social, thanking “our partners in India” and Reliance for the investment.
