T'gana Transfers IAS Officer Who Shared AI Image Of Tree Felling

The Telangana government on Sunday transferred senior IAS officer Smita Sabharwal, who courted controversy earlier this month by reposting an AI-generated image of the tree felling in Kancha Gachibowli in Hyderabad.
HYDERABAD:
Sabharwal was transferred from her role as principal secretary of the youth affairs, tourism and culture department to member secretary of the Telangana finance commission. She was transferred as part of a major bureaucratic reshuffle in Telangana involving 20 IAS officers.
