Prosenjit dedicates his Padma Shri to late filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh

Actor Prosenjit Chatterjee achieved anew milestone as he was conferred with the Padma Shri by the Government of India on Sunday.

Having had a career of over four decades, he calls it an honour that he dears close and dedicates it to his friend and late filmmaker Rituparno Ghosh, who died in 2013.He says, “I am grateful and thankful to the government and I will not call it an award but an achievement. This is a very important recognition for anybody.”
