Latur Civic Body Chief Attempts Suicide, Probe On To Find Motive

The commissioner of the Latur municipal corporation in Maharashtra allegedly attempted to die by suicide, police said on Sunday, adding that his condition is critical.
LATUR:
The incident took place on Saturday night when Latur civic chief Balasaheb Manohare allegedly shot himself with a gun at his residence in the MIDC area of the district.
Manohare sustained severe bullet injuries to his head, following which he was rushed to the Sahyadri Hospital.
