Bengal Issues Notification To Recruit Teachers After SC Verdict

The West Bengal government on Friday issued a notification to recruit 35,726 assistant teachers in state-run secondary and higher secondary schools following the Supreme Court's verdict invalidating the appointments of 25,752 teachers and non-teaching staff in the cash-for-job scam.
KOLKATA:
While the written examination is likely to be held in the first week of September this year, the results are expected to be published in the fourth week of October. Counselling and recommendation process is expected to start in the last week of November.
