SC Refuses to Hear Pleas Against 2023 Women Quota Act

The Supreme Court on Friday disposed of petitions seeking immediate implementation of a law reserving a third of seats in Parliament and state assemblies for women, stating that the petitioners are free to approach the high court, if aggrieved.
