Actor Disha Patani's father, Jagdish Patani, a retired deputy superintendent of police, has been granted a weapons licence by the Bareilly district administration, officials confirmed on Sunday. The approval comes nearly two months after armed assailants opened fire at the Patani family's residence during the early hours of September 12.
